the margaret mead has double handles for carrying over the shoulder, as well as shorter handles for when your shoulders could use a break. magical spring-loaded o-rings are key in this design.... a strap extender allows you to convert the shorter straps to a single long strap for carrying your bag crossbody style. you can also opt to keep the shorter handles in tact and attach the extender piece to the side o-rings for a right-under-the-shoulder carrying option. an external phone pocket on the front works double duty for stashing your keys as well. the bag is fully lined, and an interior zippered pocket is perfect for stashing the rest of your necessities. multiple brass rivets (56, to be exact!) and a magnetic snap closure for easy access complete the

i use top and full grain leathers and like the fact that each hide we use shows its own natural markings and grain characteristics. each hide shows small scars, marks and color variations and i think this adds to the unique character of each finished piece. the leather will age beautifully and gracefully. like you. each rivet on these totes is set by hand and each piece of leather is meticulously hand cut. made with pride and an armful of love in south carolina, usa.
